2027: Primate Ayodele Warns of Plot to Break Obi-Kwankwaso Alliance, Disrupt NDC

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the founder and leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has issued a fresh warning about the political prospects of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) and the partnership between its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and running mate Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Ayodele cautioned that political interests could seek to drive a wedge between Obi and Kwankwaso in an attempt to weaken the NDC ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The cleric said opponents of the party could take advantage of disagreements, individual ambitions and political interests to undermine the relationship between the two politicians.

“They will plot to break Obi and Kwankwaso’s alliance and disrupt the NDC as a party,” Ayodele warned.

He called on the NDC leadership and its supporters to remain alert and prevent internal disagreements from developing into a serious crisis.

As the 2027 elections approach, Ayodele advised Obi, Kwankwaso and other party stakeholders to be wary of individuals who may attempt to exploit existing differences for political gain.

He stressed that maintaining unity and managing internal political tensions effectively would be essential for the NDC to remain a strong opposition force in the forthcoming election.
