Lahore Traffic Police seize motorcycle with 113 E-challans

Lahore traffic police have seized a motorcycle carrying a record 113 e-challans for traffic violations, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday.

According to DSP Traffic Ashfaq Ahmed, the motorcyclist was caught riding without a helmet 89 times and violating traffic signals 24 times.

The traffic police imposed a total fine of Rs190,000 on the rider and impounded the motorcycle at Factory Area Police Station.

Traffic patrolling officers Ghulam Arabi and Tanveer checked the motorcycle’s e-challan record and found 113 violations in total.

Chief Traffic Officer Lahore Syed Abdul Rahim Shirazi said the crackdown against people who fail to pay e-challans and digital challans would continue to ensure a more disciplined traffic system in the city.
