Car crashes into two cars, gas pump before catching fire at Midstate gas station

CEDAR HILL, Tenn. (WSMV) – A car crashed into two cars before hitting a gas pump and catching fire, according to Smokey Barn News.

SBN reports that the crash happened at a gas station on Highway 41A near Maxey Road in Cedar Hill on Saturday night.

Citing fire officials, SBN said that a Lamborghini left the roadway, hit a car and a truck before crashing into the gas pumps. The Lamborghini then caught fire.

The driver was reportedly unconscious after the crash and was pulled from the burning vehicle by bystanders before officials arrived at the scene.

Fire officials told SBN that the driver regained consciousness and refused to be taken to a hospital.

The fire caused by the crash melted portions of the gas pumps and the overhead canopy. The Lamborghini was destroyed in the fire, SBN said.

Officials are working to determine what caused the crash.

SBN said the agencies that responded to the crash include the Pleasant View Volunteer Fire Department, Tennessee Highway Patrol, Cheatham County Sheriff’s Office, Pleasant View Police Department and Cheatham County EMS.
