Bagbin demands strict adherence to law in Baffour Awuah case

Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin has called for the case involving Manhyia South MP Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah to be handled strictly in accordance with the law, while urging state institutions to avoid unnecessary interference with the work of Parliament.The Speaker’s position follows the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO) ‘s continued detention of the MP after he voluntarily reported to the agency on Thursday, October 1, following the issuance of a High Court warrant for his arrest.
