Good News for All Kenyans with Safaricom Lines as Company Makes Major Announcement

M-Pesa customers can now check transaction costs before sending or withdrawing money, following Safaricom’s launch of a Cost Calculator on its MyOne App.

The new feature allows users to view applicable M-Pesa transaction and withdrawal charges in advance, giving them a clearer idea of how much they will be charged before completing a transaction.

The introduction of the calculator comes as Safaricom rolls out revised M-Pesa tariffs covering services including Pochi la Biashara, Lipa na M-Pesa Buy Goods and Business Till transfers.

One of the key changes is a reduction in Business Till transfer charges, with some fees reportedly decreasing by as much as 50 percent. The adjustment could offer relief to small traders who use M-Pesa to receive payments and move business funds.
