Meet one of the tallest woman in the world, see how she lives with her husband

Elisane Silva, as the world’s tallest woman, has become a media sensation for her accomplishment. About three million people are now following her on TikTok.

She is much taller than her family members and even her spouse, who is five years her senior. When compared to the rest of her family, she towers over everyone else. Because she is 6 feet and 8 inches tall, she easily wins the height contest between the two couples. Her 5’8″ spouse is far shorter than she is.

She had a pituitary tumor from birth that kept growing while she was a newborn. When she was an adult, doctors were able to remove the tumor. Her body started manufacturing an excessive amount of growth hormone as the tumor expanded. The growth of the tumor directly caused this. In the scientific community, this phenomena is known as gigantism.

This greatly affected her, and even after she got married, she was still teased because she was tall. With time, however, she has come to terms with her height and even uses it to her advantage by creating viral TikTok videos. Some years ago, she proposed sharing her story on national television, with the network even offering to cover the costs of any medical tests she would need to prepare.
