Calculating tax liability has been introduced as a section under a chapter titled ‘Managing Your Personal Finances’ that also teaches students about investment options like fixed deposits, mutual funds and equity stocksIn a first at school level, students as young as those in Class 9 will be taught how to calculate income tax liability under the new tax regime.
