FBR’s tax collection rises 9% in September

Tax collections of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) rose by 9 percent to reach Rs1,344 billion in September 2026, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to report, in September 2026, the FBR collected Rs1 billion in taxes above the set target.

The tax collection target for September 2026 was Rs1,343 billion.

During the first quarter, FBR’s tax collections increased by 7 percent to Rs3,066 billion.

In the first quarter, the FBR collected Rs13 billion in taxes exceeding the target.
