Three terrorists killed in Mir Ali operation, another eliminated in Balochistan

Security forces have killed four militants in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

According to security sources, three militants were killed during an intelligence-based operation in Mir Ali, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, carried out against terrorists under the government’s Azm-e-Istehkam security plan.

A large quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the militants killed during the operation, according to security sources. 

The security sources said security forces accurately targeted and destroyed militant hideouts in Mir Ali and nearby areas.

The forces also foiled an attempt by the militants to stop a truck carrying food supplies near Mir Ali market, the sources said.

In a separate operation in Balochistan, security forces killed a militant in Sohrab district under Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3.

According to security sources, the operation was launched after information was received about the presence of militants between Mal Madrassa and Batigo.

During an exchange of fire, one militant was killed, while another managed to escape in the Sohrab district.

The sources identified the dead militant as a member of Fitna al-Hindustan and said weapons and a motorcycle were recovered from his possession.

Security forces have reiterated their commitment to maintaining peace and security in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and eliminating terrorism from the provinces.
