EXPOSED: How a Police Boss Lured a Couple Out of Their Home Before Defiling Their Daughter

Details have emerged on how a senior police officer allegedly deceived a couple into leaving their residence before defiling their daughter at night.

According to police reports, the officer allegedly phoned the girl’s mother at about 11 pm.He told her that a joint security exercise involving several agencies was about to happen in the Kambi Moto area.

He then reportedly offered to give the woman and her husband a ride to a local pub.

He allegedly left them there and promised to pick them up at about 5 am.

The mother grew uneasy, and the couple headed back to their house.

They allegedly found the officer inside the home with their daughter.

The officer has since been arrested and arraigned in court.

The Independent Policing Oversight Authority, known as IPOA, has assumed the probe into the defilement of the 16-year-old girl.

The incident was first reported at Lumakanda Police Station on September 27.It was later referred to as Ipoa, which dispatched a team to investigate.

Ipoa chairman Dr Duncan Ojwang Oburu said the officer had been arrested and presented before a court as enquiries continue.

He said investigators have recorded statements from those involved and examined the scene.

They have also secured the girl’s medical records.

An identification parade will also be conducted if necessary.

The earlier police report also referred to a firearm, condoms, the couple’s phones and KSh 20,000.

The girl and her mother were taken to Lumakanda Sub County Hospital for a medical check and treatment.

Ipoa did not name the officer or give further information, saying the inquiry is still underway.

The authority said the matter is grave because the girl is a minor.

It pledged an impartial and thorough probe based on evidence.

Defilement is a grave offence in Kenya, and the law prescribes stiff penalties.

IPOA is the body responsible for investigating complaints against police officers.

The allegations against the officer have not been proven and will be tested in court.
