Etihad Rail launches 10 daily services linking Dubai and Abu Dhabi

Etihad Rail has launched 10 daily passenger train services connecting Dubai and Abu Dhabi, marking the start of direct rail travel between the two cities and Fujairah, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

According to the details, on the first day of the service, passengers were welcomed at several stations with traditional Emirati music and dance performances.

The new services allow passengers to travel directly between Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Fujairah, providing a new rail link between the three emirates.

The launch is part of the United Arab Emirates’ wider efforts to expand its national railway network and provide passengers with more direct travel options between major cities.
