Woman dies under mysterious circumstances in Lahore

A married woman died under mysterious circumstances in Gaga village in Hadyara, 24NewsHD TV reported on Tuesday.

According to police, the woman, identified as Mahwish, aged 23, died after allegedly consuming a poisonous substance.

She had married a man named Bilal around two years ago.

Mahwish’s family accused her in-laws of poisoning her, prompting police to launch an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.

Police detained two suspects, identified as Talha and Iqra, from the scene.

The woman’s body was shifted to the mortuary for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

A case has been registered on the complaint of the deceased woman’s maternal uncle, Asghar, police said.
