The highly anticipated final is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 10 October, with kick-off set for 18h00. The match will be a repeat of the 2023 MTN8 final, when the two South African giants previously met for the trophy.

Orlando Pirates will enter the final as the defending champions and will be aiming to secure their fifth consecutive MTN8 title. The Buccaneers have enjoyed a strong run in the competition in recent years and will be looking to continue their dominance when they face Sundowns.

The venue announcement comes after weeks of uncertainty over where the final would be played. The PSL has now confirmed that Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban will host the encounter.

General Access tickets will cost R150 each and will be available online only from Friday, 2 October 2026, at 10h00. Supporters will also be limited to a maximum of four tickets per person as part of the arrangements for the sale.

The final is expected to attract significant attention from supporters of both clubs, with Pirates aiming to defend their title and Sundowns looking to claim the trophy.
