During the walk, he spoke to community members about economic difficulties affecting their families.In a post shared on X, Matiang’i highlighted his interactions with local residents, noting their concerns regarding current financial challenges and their expectations for political leadership.

“A refreshing morning walk through Randi village, Gakawa ward, Kieni East. I listened to residents speak about the economic hardships facing their families and their hopes for better leadership,” Matiang’i stated.

He esaid the community expressed a firm desire to participate actively in upcoming decisions at the ballot box.

“Their message was clear: they intend to make their voices heard at the ballot. The people are speaking. We are listening,” he added.
