Gladys Wanga Calls on Kenyans to Light Candles in Honour of Raila Odinga

Orange Democratic Movement chairperson Gladys Wanga has announced a nationwide candlelight vigil in honour of the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, calling on Kenyans and his supporters across the world to come together in remembrance of his life and legacy.

Wanga said the tribute will provide an opportunity for Kenyans to collectively remember Raila, popularly known as Baba, and reflect on his contribution to the country’s political and democratic journey.

The Homa Bay Governor urged members of the public to participate in the symbolic candlelight event regardless of their location.
