DWP told to stop PIP payments for 52,210 claimants with vague condition

The Department for Work and Pensions has handed Personal Independence Payment to tens of thousands of benefits claimants with ” non-specific” back pain.The number of PIP claimants who have payments based on a so-called “vague” condition has skyrocketed by almost 60 per cent in five years, according to the Telegraph newspaper.
