56-year-old man found dead in Washburn County; 25-year-old in custody

Deputies were asked to check on the man Saturday afternoonWASHBURN COUNTY, Wis. (Northern News Now) – A 56-year-old man was found dead Saturday afternoon at a home in Washburn County, and another man is in custody as authorities investigate.The Washburn County Sheriff’s Office said on Facebook that deputies were called around 1:18 p.m. to conduct a welfare check at a home on County Highway E near McKenzie Lake in Casey Township.
