Massive rains with lightning, thunder and strong winds to hit the following parts of Zimbabwe this week, government warns

Zimbabwe is expected to experience strong winds, thunderstorms, lightning, and rain in several parts of the country this week, with weather officials warning communities to prepare for sudden changes in conditions.The unsettled weather is expected to affect the country at a time when many communities are still dealing with the effects of the severe 2025/26 rainy season, which caused flooding, deaths, damaged homes, and destroyed roads and bridges.
