KuPS sports director Sixten Bostrom has described the signing of Kasim Adams as a significant boost for the Finnish club.
The Ghanaian defender has signed a two-year contract with the Finnish side, arriving as a free agent after spells across several European leagues.
Bostrom believes Adams’ experience and physical presence will strengthen the team’s defensive structure.
“Kasim is a very suitable stopper for us in terms of ball possession. He can open the game with quality, both with short and longer passes,” Bostrom said.
“In addition, he brings physicality and strong heading ability to our defence in both penalty areas.”
The KuPS director also highlighted the leadership qualities Adams is expected to add to the squad.
“As an experienced player, he also brings leadership and confidence to our defensive line,” Bostrom added.
Adams is expected to play a key role for KuPS as the club prepares for the upcoming season and aims to compete strongly both domestically and in European competition.
