Who Was Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed

All eight individuals including the three crew members were confirmed dead at the crash site. Graphic images from the scene showed the burnt remains of the helicopter. Emergency teams rushed to the site but there were no survivors.

The Ghana Armed Forces confirmed the crash and said investigations are underway to find out what caused the accident. The crash happened shortly after the helicopter took off from Accra on an official assignment.
