The Majority Leader in Parliament, Mahama Ayariga has described the numbers of Minority Members of Parliament as “minuscule” following the New Patriotic Party’s loss in Akwatia by-election and their unwillingness to contest in the Tamale Central by-election.
Addressing Members of Parliament on the floor of the House on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, he said the Minority MPs are no more a micro Minority but a “Minuscule Minority”.
