Accra, April 21, GNA-MTN Ghana, together with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) have announced some exciting packages to boost patronage ahead of the 2024/25 FA Cup semi-finals.
The semis, scheduled for May 10 and May 11,2025 at the Tarkwa TNA Stadium would feature Golden Kicks, Attram De Visser, Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea.
Golden Kicks would take on Attram De Visser on the opening date after which Asante Kotoko would also face Berekum Chelsea in a tough encounter in their journey to the finals.
As part of efforts to boost patronage, there would be a curtain raiser between Tarkwa Secondary School and Fiaseman Secondary School to spice up the atmosphere for the Golden Kicks, Attram De Visser clash.
Adding to the excitement of the Mother’s Day celebration, a special treat would be organized for mothers who would be at the stadium to watch the second semi-final clash between Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea.
With two lower tier sides making it this far, the 2024/2025 MTN FA Cup is anticipated to produce some unexpected moments among the heavyweights.
Golden Kicks have enjoyed an impressive run coming into the semis, eliminating twelve-time winners Hearts of Oak, Karela United and some other tough sides whereas Attram De Visser also gave premier league leaders Bibiani GoldStars a showdown in the early stages of the competition.
For Asante Kotoko, they would be hoping to pocket the title for the tenth time as their premier league hopes to remain in shambles after a 2-0 defeat to Nations FC in their last encounter.
On the other side, Berekum Chelsea would be eyeing a first MTN FA Cup title after a long wait.
