The interview had to stop because he had a seizure while trying to answer a question asked. Whenever he speaks, it triggers seizures.
Samuel Akonnor is an Arts student at the University of Education, Winniba, Department of Arts, he has a strange disorder that happens whenever he speaks with someone, seizure.
While being interviewed by TV3’s Portia Gabor, a seizure happened, and the interview had to halt for other means of communication to be done. Talking through text messages help calm his seizure for some time.
Despite his ailment, he is a talented artist who makes nice drawings and was able to draw Portia Gabor for a few hours.
According to Samuel’s mother, he receives so much help from colleagues and lectures at his residence and school but he needs financial help for medical needs.
According to Samuel, he is praying while technology is coming up, it will provide comfortable ways for people like him to communicate effectively.
