We’re outside in 2023, expect more bangers – Sarkodie to fans » ™

Sarkodie, who is the most famous rap artist in Africa, has said that he will spend a lot of time with fans outside of Africa in 2023.

He was born Michael Owusu Addo, and on Sunday, January 1, 2023, he was talking to Dessy Fayden of Metro TV in Accra.

He was known as the Landlord, and in 2022 he said, “It’s been great.”

He put out his 10-song album, Jamz, on November 11, 2022. “The people liked it the way I wanted them to,” he said.

“It’s [Jamz has] beautiful melodies but in 2023, we’re going to focus on the singles,” he revealed and stressed: “It’s been a great [past] year.”

Concerning his vision for 2023, he simply said: “We’re outside.” His focus is to travel and engage more with the international world.

“2023 is we being outside, literally,” he repeated. “So we’re trying to take the music that we drop – it’s a lot of bangers [hits], so we have to go out there and feed the people, so that’s what we’re working on at this point.”

‘Countryside’ featuring Black Sherif was Sarkodie’s first hit from ‘Jamz.’ As Sark expected, the project propelled him into Boomplay’s Golden Club, commemorating 100 million streams for his entire library.
