After Speaker Amazon Kingi and Senator Samson Cherargei of Nandi County had a serious rebuke this evening, fireworks broke out in the Senate.

While retaliating, Kingi read the laws of the house to Cherargei and even listed the consequences that he was going to face for his misconduct in the senate. The charge then proceeded to leave the senate session.
“The speaker may call a senator whose conduct is grossly disorderly to order and shall order the senator to withdraw immediately from the premises of parliament. On the first occasion for a maximum of three sitting days. This is your first occasion. I order you to withdraw for the remainder of the day. Kindly proceed to withdraw,” responded speaker Amason Kingi.
