NNPP Is Ready For A Merger With Labour Party But NNPP Will Not Play Second Fiddle – Yesufu

A member of the New Nigeria Peoples Party Presidential Campaign Council, Abubakar Yesufu, has disclosed that the NNPP is not ruling out the possibility of merging with the Labour Party ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Yesufu maintained that the issue at hand is that the NNPP is not ready to play second fiddle to Labour Party. The Labour Party is the party with the ideology that is closest in resemblance to the ideology of the NNPP.

However, Abubakar Yesufu revealed that the leader of NNPP, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has gotten to the some high positions in Nigerian politics and for that reason, the party will not play second fiddle to Labour Party or any other political party.

According to Abubakar Yesufu, the NNPP is currently moving forward with the preparations ahead of the 2023 general elections and Rabiu Kwankwaso does not see the elections as a do or die affair.
