The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has promised in the time past that student loans will be given to students across the country under this present administration. A Lot of Nigerians are still asking for the APC to fulfill that promise as regards the solitary support to financing education.
Asiwaju speaking at a business lunch in Lagos State has promised once again that they will establish student loans. Asiwaju also spoke about the issue of the Asuu strike that remains unsolved, if you would recall that the union went on strike for a large number of eight months before calling the strike off late this year. The Former governor of Lagos state promised to negotiate with the Union and ensure that the questions being raised are answered.
He said, ”There is a discussion for the need for a clear road map for education. We will establish student loans and four years course will be four years course. We will take care of the variables asked by Asuu. We will answer their demands. Compulsory, the student loans will be given out, no one will be left aside.”
