Tinubu saying his opponents have no past; I hope he’s not talking to Peter Obi & Atiku-Ayo Mairo-Ese

During the Morning Show program, Ayo Mairo-Ese, Nigerian journalist and Arise TV presenter, said that she hopes senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu who said that his opponent have no past, is not talking to Mr. Peter Obi, the Labour Party presidential candidate and Atiku Abubakar, PDP presidential candidate.

She made the statement when she was fact-checking the statement made by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at his campaign rally in Calabar where he said that “They have no past- in terms of his opponents.”

Ayo Mairo-Ese said that if he could fact-check the statement of Asiwaju in Calabar rally, saying that his opponents have no past.

“I hope he is not speaking to the two other front runners; Mr. Peter Obi and Waziri Atiku Abubakar. Because Atiku and Peter Obi obviously have an experience, a political experience, Atiku has served as the former vice president of Nigeria and Peter Obi has served as the former governor of Anambra state.”

“When you look at it, it goes back to that saying when you point one finger, four others are pointing back at you, how can Tinubu say that someone has no past when there is still a contention as to his correct state of origin, name, school etc.”

She said with this, Tinubu is still questioning that of others. Ayo said instead of him saying all that, he could have used the time to tell what he would do for people.
