A federal High Court sitting in Abuja on Monday, found Doyin Okupe, the Director General Of the Obi-Datti campaign, guilty of receiving over N200 million cash from a former National Security Adviser (NSA) Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd) and also sentenced him to two years improving. The court however, sentenced him to the 2 years imprisonment on count 34 with an option of a fine of N500,000.
However, hours after his conviction for money laundering, Doyin Okupe released a statement via his twitter handle, where he stated that God is not man, and that the enemies have tried in so many ways but kept failing.
Quoting the original statement released by Doyin Okupe, he said, “God is not man. The enemies have tried in so many ways but kept on failing. Victory is of God”.
