A chieftain of Peter Obi’s PCC, Prof. Charles Nwekeaku, has made fresh revelations regarding the presidential candidate’s family and building churches. Prof. Charles made these revelations on AIT News while reacting to claims that the presidential candidate now appears in churches and religious events where he had hitherto not been seen.
Addressing the topic, Prof. Charles said, “It is not true.” There are things that Nigerians do not know about Peter Obi because he is not a noisy person. Peter Obi has quietly built many churches, and it even runs in his family. His brother, a reverend father, built a church in my village in Oji River LGA, Enugu State.
He continued, “The last time I went home, I saw people mobilizing for Peter Obi, and my people reminded me that his brother Rev. Fr. Fabian Obi served in the area and built the church.” It runs in their family. Peter Obi has immensely contributed to helping the poor without announcing it.
