The winner of the MTN FA Cup 2021/2022, coach Samuel Boadu, has been appointed as the coach of the Black Satellites.
Abdul Karim Zito has been replaced as head coach of the national U-20 squad by Samuel Boadu, a former head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak.
The new coach, Samuel Boadu, has a big task since his predecessor, Abdul Karim Zito, became champion of the 2021 U-20 Cup of Nations in Mauritania.

A statement from the Ghana Football Association read: “Samuel Boadu has been appointed as coach of the Black Satellites. Their immediate assignment is to lead Ghana to the 2023 African Games slated for Accra in August next year.”
The Black Satellites’ entire technical team consisted of Head Coach Samuel Boadu, Desmond Offei, a 35-year-old UEFA A (Level 4) Licensed Professional Coach, and another assistant coach, Salifu Fatawu, who was a member of the technical team when they won gold in Mauritania under former gaffer Karim Zito.Â
Ghana’s goalkeeper at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil completed the members of the Black Satellites technical team; he will serve as the goalkeeper’s trainer for the U-20 team; and he was the goalkeeper for Ashanti Gold, Orlando Pirates, Chippa United, Enyimba FC, and Legon Cities.
