Ex-Hearts of Oak Captain Gets National Team Appointment

Ex-Hearts of Oak Captain, Jacob Nettey has been given an appointment by the Ghana Football Association.

The 2000 CAF Champions League winner has been named as the assistant to veteran coach, Abdul Karim Zito for the national under 17 male team, the Black Starlets.

Another big name who has been appointed as an assistant to veteran Abdul Karim Zito is ex-Black Stars and Hearts of Oak winger, Laryea Kingston.

The goalkeepers trainer of the national under 17 male team is Jerry Asare and the technical team has faked to shape the juvenile side of the national team.

Jacob Nettey comes in with some form of experience having guided Hearts of Oak to six league titles and the CAF Champions League and the CAF Super Cup in 2000 and 2001 respectively. The Black Starlets have not won any major tournaments in the past few years due improper structures, planning and other stuff.
