16 Suspects Declared Wanted By The Police For Violence At NDC Conference

There was an uproar at the NDC youth and women’s conference when two rival groups clashed. 

The groups hurled stones at each other, among many others, that resulted in the damage of properties and the injury of three persons.

The police declared 16 individuals wanted as perpetrators in connection to the clash after a review of video footage. The conference came off on December 10, 2022, in Cape Coast over the weekend. 

Fortunately, the police intervened and dispersed the crowd, so the conference will peacefully continue till the end. 

The police, in a statement issued on December 11, has set aside a GHC10,000 reward to any person who can give credible information that can lead to the arrest of the other persons involved in the violence. 

“A GHC 10,000.00 reward has been set aside for any member of the public who can provide credible information to the police that can lead to the arrest of any of the suspects”.
