Hearts of Oak in Search of Barnieh’s Replacement

Accra Hearts of Oak are on the market in search of a replacement for the departing Daniel Afriyie Barnieh.

The Phobians under coach Samuel Boadu started the current season on a bad note having collected just one point from their three opening games of the season.

The Phobian fans were unhappy with the performance of coach Samuel Boadu who eventually got sacked despite leading them to a domestic treble last two season.

He led them to get the FA Cup last season which makes Hearts of the record holders of the FA Cup.

Samuel Boadu remains one of the biggest coaches of the club having won five trophies in a space of two and a half years at the club.

The young trainer guided the club to win one league title and two FA Cups in the process before annexing their President Cup and an automatic Super Cup ahead of rivals, Asante Kotoko.

Hearts of Oak are currently combing other clubs as well as their youth team for some young players to replace Barnieh and the choice has fallen on Seidu Suraj.
