A Plus has confessed that all the controversial political songs he dropped which made him a household name years ago were lumped in the encouragements he received from Nana Akufo Addo, who was then the leader of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The musician who is now into full-time politics and activism made a name for himself by doing political songs and waxing his theme around topical issues permeating within the corridors of politics.
To some extent, he became the ‘most wanted’ artiste of his generation owing to the enmity he brought to himself from the politicians he bashed, told Adom TV’s Afia Amankwa Tamakloe, that Nana Akufo Addo fell in love with his craft and encouraged to tread on the same path.
A Plus said that Akufo-Addo was an honest man back while recounting how he sought an audience with him even when he had bashed him in a song.
