“We Are Ready To Roar In Our Next Game” – Black Stars Captain

Captain of the Black Stars of Ghana, Andre Ayew has expressed confidence in the Black Stars despite their opening World Cup defeat against Portugal.

The Black Stars made a jerky start to their Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup campaign against Portugal at the 974 Stadium in Qatar.

The opening group H game saw the Black Stars fall to a Cristiano Ronaldo opener from the penalty spot but captain Andre Ayew found the equalizer for the Black Stars.

The Black Stars fell to two quick goals in a space of two minutes putting the game beyond the reach of the Black Stars.

The Black Stars pulled one back through substitute, Osman Bukari but that was not enough to rescue them a any point as they lost 3-2 on the day.

That notwithstanding, Captain of the national team, Andre Ayew remains confident that they will prepare for the next game.

“Proud of the team spirit and the unity showed on the pitch.

“We will prepare for the next game, giving up doesn’t exist in our dictionary.

“Thanks for the support

We keep going.” Andre Ayew tweeted.
