Otto Addo Gets a Huge Boost Ahead of Portugal Clash

The Black Stars of Ghana have been given a huge boost ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be staged in Qatar.

TheBlacj Stars have been paired against two old foes, Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in group H.

The Black Stars open their World Cup campaign against Portugal in what would be a repeat of the 2014 group stage clash where Ghana lost in Brazil.

The Black Stars will also face Uruguay in a repeat of the quarterfinal clash of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.

The Black Stars are making their fourth appearance at the World Cup following a debut show at the 2006 edition held in Germany.

The Black Stars made a second appearance at the 2010 edition hosted on African soil in South Africa where they produced their best result, finishing in the quarter final stage.

The quarter final stage by the Black Stars has been their best result until date which they will look to better.

Their 2014 FIFA World Cup appearance was a spectacle they will quickly want to forget after finishing the tournament with a group stage exit.

The Black Stars missed out on the 2018 FIFA World Cup held in Russia but managed to qualify for the 2022 edition after beating arch rivals, the Super Eagles of Nigeria via an away goal aggregate.
