The member of Parliament for Fanteakwa South Constituency in the eastern region, Hon. Kofi Okyere Agyekum, affectionately called Hon. Arafat has responded to the former independent parliamentary candidate with respect to development in the constituency.
Hon. Arafat can not fathom why Dr Stephen Ayisi Gyan is claiming the constituency is not seeing improvement in development though he has done a number of projects in Ayisi Gyan’s hometown, Nsutam
“When Will Ayisi Gyan leave Fanteakwa South in peace? At least under my tenure as MP we have built in Nsutam alone;
1.Islamic primary School
2. Presby primary school
3. Nsutam Health center
4. 500 capacity community center plus funeral ground.
5.Halls and classrooms
at Nsutam SHS.
6.Akwadusa Bridge.
7. Ofosu Ampofo Bridge.
8. Bitumen surfacing of Nsutam main street. etc
At least in 2010 when I was not an Mp I built a funeral shed near the chief’s Palace for Nsutam with my own Money. The shed is still in use thanks.”
Hon. Arafat challenged Dr Gyan to name any project he has built in the constituency in his bid to become the constituency member of Parliament.
