All Unregistered SIM Cards To Be Blocked In This Month, NCA Finally Announced With Red Eyes.

National Communication Authority (NCA) in Ghana has finally made its last announcement on unregistered SIM Cards which are still used by some Ghanaians in the country.

According to the National Communication Authority of Ghana, all unregistered SIM Cards will be blocked from accessing data services on November 20th, 2022 and completely deactivated on Wednesday 30th of November, 2022.

According to Ghana Communication and Digitalization Minister, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful, an announcement will be made on their measures to accommodate people who don’t have Ghana cards because of one or two reasons to re-registered their SIM Cards.

She made it clear that they have recorded over 30,011,082 SIM Cards which are in the first phase of the re-registration and it has not been re-registered in the second phase in their data system.

She then urges all the “Stubborn Academy” people to download the Self-Service Application on Google Play Store to re-registered their SIM Cards in the second phase to avoid losing their SIM Cards in the future.
