Mohammed Salisu will be key and outstanding at the back Black Star team

Mohammed Salisu will be the tallest player in the Black Stars team with a height of 1.91m at the World Cup.

Mohammed Salisu and Alexander Djiku will be going into the World cup with the highest average ratings this season after 15 matches. [7.06] and [7.07] respectively.

Mohammed Salisu will come into the world cup having the most minutes among our defenders [14] just behind Alexander Djiku and Denis Odoi [15].

Mohammed Salisu has the versatility of playing in three different positions for the Black Stars. Like Daniel Amartey who can slot into the right back, Salisu could also seamlessly slot into the left back position and possibly the defensive midfield area because of his ability to pass the ball effectively.

The team looks very poised with the three men at the back and even can accommodate with four back system. I trust in the 3-5-2 system which will see the full backs in their unusual wing back position to join the midfielders in attack.

Salisu, Djiku and Amartey can accommodate the back at the right and left side of the defence and help very well. If we need to push more men forward, then Salisu can help in the left defense as he normally do in Southampton.

And also Amartey can also help in the right side of defense, he has been playing in the left back position for Leicester City in a couple of games. Salisu will be key to the team with a lot of expectations from him.
