Cina Soul has dropped a revelation about her hit song Ojorley which is unbeknownst to us all this while in a fresh interview.
The songstress stressed that her former record label Universal Group did not want her to release her hit song, Ojorley in her native language which is Ga.
She told Cookie on TV3 that the international record label had claimed the song was not relatable because she did not render it in English language but obstinately insisted on using Ga to express herself lyrically.
She said: “You know it is full Ga. There is no English word in there whatsoever. They just felt like it wasn’t relatable enough compared with the other songs I have. So they were like no, and I was like, you know what, for the first time in my life, I am going to be stubborn. Usually, I am not a stubborn artiste, but I just felt this conviction about this song. So I just did it, and it paid off.

“They were very happy and shocked. They came to Ghana because I won an award and went with me to take the award. They were(happy), but maybe if it didn’t do well, they wouldn’t be happy.”
