Southampton central defender Mohammed Salisu has earned a call up into Black Stars provisional 2022 FIFA World Cup squad.
The intelligent defender has been invited by Black Stars head coach Otto Addo in a 55-man initial squad that will be cut down to just 26 players for the mundial which starts in the next 16-days in Qatar.

The Black Stars are making their fourth appearance at the global football showpiece to be staged in Qatar in the 16 days.
The first appearance was in 2006 where the Black Stars finished at round of 16 stage in an impressive outing.
The Black Stars made an improved performance in the next edition in South Africa in 2010 where the team finished in the quarter final stage.
The 2014 edition was a horrible spectacle to behold as the Black Stars got kicked out of from the group stage of the competition.
