Many famous people we’ve heard about were influenced to make certain life decisions by the circumstances they faced.
While some delved into what made them successful with the assistance of friends and parents, others made it in life despite the debilitating conditions they faced.
On the part of a young and upcoming Ghanaian hip-hop artiste Emmanuel Sarkodie who is well known in Showbiz as N.ana YS, ventured into music after he lost both parents.
On Friday’s entertainment segment of Oyerepa Breakfast Time, hosted by MFK, the rapper revealed that he lost both his parents years ago.
As per him, the death of his parents consumed his mind to the point where he was unable to function in life. He became perplexed.
Since he had lost all hope, it occurred to him to compose music in order to motivate others, and this is how he became inspired to make rap music.
“I got the motivation to do music after I lost my parents.
I lost both my parents about 4 years ago. I was really sad; I got confused when it happened so I said if this is how it is, I’ll venture into music to motivate others never to give up; they should keep on going and all that.”
N.ana YS disclosed that he has 10 songs to his credit and is looking forward to taking his music to a different level.
