DJ Nyaami recently had an interview with Lily Addison, a Ghanaian lady now residing in the United Kingdom, in which she discussed her success since relocating to the United Kingdom.
Lily said in a video posted on SVTV Africa’s YouTube page that she was able to purchase her first home just two years after leaving her own country.
When asked for further background, the UK-based lady disclosed that her two sisters overseas pooled their finances, looked for a fashion designing school, and flew her to the UK in 1999 following the death of their father, on whom she had relied heavily.
After graduating, Lily began a career in the fashion industry, but the industry was unprofitable, so she switched to a corporate position.

Motivated by her desire to provide a stable environment for her children, the mother of two outlined how she would be able to save enough money and keep her credit in good standing to purchase a home of her own.
