How My Daughter Got Pregnant For Our Neighbour After She Came To Visit Me – A Woman Retells

A woman named Monica Asiama from Nsuta narrated how her daughter got pregnant for their neighbour after she came to visit her years ago. According to the woman, her daughter Yaa Fosua had a relationship with their neighbor, also known as Bashwudu, after she came to visit her. Although she did not support their relationship due to their religious differences but her daughter didn’t listen to any of her advice.

A few months later, Yaa became pregnant for their neighbour, but he left her for another woman from their tribe. She worked hard and look after her pregnant daughter till she gave birth. Two weeks after the child was born, Mashawudu came to pick up the child, shaved off all his hair. Monica said she became annoyed and asked him to name the child, but the young man told her that it is an abomination for him to name a child who is not from his tribe and doesn’t worship with them.

The woman added that he didn’t even try to provide the basic needs for the child, she had to struggle to feed her daughter and her baby. Years later she went to the hospital for check up but the young man pick up the child again and send him to his house without her knowledge. She went to Bashawudu’s residence but could not find him. The woman reveals that she file a complain at the police station about her missing grandson, but she didn’t see the grandson.Two weeks later, she found out that her grandson is Mashawudu’s family house.

She immediately rushed to that house but the young man’s brother beat her because she came to their house to look for her grandson. Since that day she has not set her eyes on her grandson for three years now. Just recently she received information that the child has been sent to Northern region, although they have tried their possible best to get child back home but their efforts were not successful. Now the woman is asking her daughter’s boyfriend to bring her grandson back to her, also he should pay for the money she spent on the child.
