Another Wahala: The President And His Convoy Face Another Angry Youths In NPP Stronghold

Tougher times are continually hitting President Nana Addo and his current New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, as they draw closer to end their eight years in office.

In today’s world of people, where peace, unity and progress are the top priorities; there is nothing more disastrous than couple losing trust in each other; children losing trust in their parents or vice versa, or youth getting fed-up with their chosen leaders.

Also, we have learned from the people of the old that, ‘Trust can only be earned, when promises meet with actions. People, especially our leaders, must learn to realized, that actions speak loud than words and not vice versa.

Indeed when situations reach its peak, and all ‘forces turns against ‘you’, there is nothing more to do beside ‘giving up the fight.

In reality, it isn’t only the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, that is meant to be hi by strange and hard times. The last days of ‘failed leaders’, could also be hit by tough times, and that is exactly what President Nana Addo of Ghana and his government are facing.

President Nana Addo, who is now left with two years to end his second term of 8 years in office, has currently been ‘entangled’ with all the promises made to Ghanaians, prior to becoming president. The current problems hitting the NPP government is the real picture of the popular saying; ‘last are dangerous’.

In this this year 2022 alone, president Nana Addo has been faced with many disgraceful moments, and looking at situations currently in Ghana, these moments, may continue, if the president do nothing to redeem his ‘tarted image’.

We all remember (Saturday, September 24, 2022); when the president mounted a stage to deliver an address at the 2022 Global Citizen Festival, at the Black Star Square in Accra; he was booed at, by some some angry Ghanaians youth, because according to them, he was not a man of his words.

Again in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region, the president and his convoy were hooted at, by some angry traders; whiles on their way to the Kumasi Central Market. This became a trending news in Ghana and around the, because it was such a disgraceful moment for the president and his NPP government in their own stronghold region.

As if that was not enough, President Nana Addo, still on his Eastern Regional tour, was hit with the ‘mother of all disgrace’; when he and his convoy were ‘booed’ again, in Akyim Akroso by some angry youth.

The sad part of the story is, first it was a disgraceful moment in the Ashanti Region, where the New Patriotic Party hailed from; this time, at Akim Akroso, in the Eastern Region, where Akufo Addo hailed from.

This recent happenings to the president and his government, is to remind all future government; that; when you fail as a president…let the people know it is a real failure. When you are hungry for power, be careful the type of promises you make; and also, ‘you cannot fool all the people all the time’.

But my best advise to President Nana Addo and his government is that, nothing is over until life ends; “When you loose everything hope, you have lost everything indeed. But when you think all is lost, when all is dire and bleak, there is always hope” for the hopeful. But that doesn’t take away the fact that, empty barrels always make the most noise.

What is happening to Nana Addo is as a result of all the ‘noise’ he made in 2016′; because, serious people dont talk too much. the talk less and do more.

In my views, the Ashanti and the Eastern Regions of Ghana are the causes of the current woes in Ghana; because when blindly dilute politics with tribalism, it gives birth to ”visionless’ leaders like what they have given us today.
