The 66th Edition of the BALLON D’OR is ongoing in Paris, France. The award welcomes a lot of dignitaries. Africa’s best player Sadio Mane is present at the award ceremony. Sadio Mane has been superb on and off the pitch. He has made a mark for a lot of footballers to follow. He has built a hospital and homes for his people in Senegal. Because of that, he has gotten himself the Socrates award at the 66th edition of the BALLON D’OR.
The SOCRATES award is an award name after Brazilian football legend Socrates Brasileiro Sampaio who died at age 57 on Sunday, December 4 2011. Sadio Mane has really been excellent this year after winning Africa’s best player and today adding the SOCRATES award to his name makes him a great player again.
