Nana Akufo-Addo Changed Your Status – Kantama To Malik Basintale

Special aide to the Savannah Regional Chairman of the NPP, Kanyiti Saburu Kantama has chided the deputy National Communication Officer hopeful of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Malik Basintale, for what he describes as the latter’s continues peddling of falsehood in Savannah region’s politics.

According to him, Basintale’s constant assertions that president Akufo-Addo has done practically nothing for the people of the Savannah Region is palpable falsehood and rallied electorates in the region not to take him serious.

He reminded Basintale that, he became a substantive communication officer of the NDC through the creation of the Savannah Region by president Akufo-Addo which allegedly changed his status in Ghana’s mainstream politics.

“For nothing at all, in responding to his question about what president Akufo-Addo has done significantly in the Savannah Region, he said, for him not to have anything at all, he has changed your status in the country’s politics. It’s through the effort of president Akufo-Addo that you had the opportunity of becoming a fully fletched Regional Communications officer”, he shaded.

Kantama who is widely known as “Alhaji Nabco” further alleged that, what Basintale knows best is to sit on Tv stations in the nation’s capital (Accra) to “peddle falsehood about some developments and turn to credit that to John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC)”.

He also averred that, there is no need to worry themselves in explaining things for Basintale and the NDC in the Savannah Region to appreciate what the government under the leadership of president Akufo-Addo has done to spur the socio-economic development of the region.

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) he said, is bent on becoming the attractive party with majority parliamentary seats in the Savannah Region and will not entertain attempts to sway their attention to unprofitable comparisons, he concluded. Thank you.
