Watch How Some Health Workers Commute To Work Daily In The Brong Ahafo Region

Some Ghanaian nurses have been recorded on camera crossing streams to get to their workplace and many social media users after coming across this video couldn’t keep mute over it. If you watch the video carefully, you can see that these nurses are working in a typical village in the Brong Ahafo Region. The nurses were seen removing their slippers to cross the streams without falling.

Some Ghanaians after coming across this video said that this is the reason why some nurses do everything possible to work in the cities. Working in rural areas as a nurse is very tedious. These nurses have to walk long distances before they can get to work. The places these nurses are walking are very dangerous. They can be bitten by snakes or attacked by strange animals.

Some Ghanaians said that nurses who accept to work in rural areas must be given extra allowances and incentives to discharge their duties properly.
