Hearts of Oak will beat Real Bamako on Sunday to qualify – Coach David Ocloo

Acting coach David Ocloo said he expects his Hearts of Oak side to qualify to the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup competition with victory over Real Bamako on Sunday.

The Phobians, will host Real Bamako in a second preliminary round second leg encounter in Accra, trailing 3-0 from the first leg played in Bamako last weekend.

However, Coach Ocloo said he is optimistic about the chances of Hearts of Oak overturning the first leg result when they take to the field on Sunday afternoon at the Accra Sports Stadium.

“They (Real Bamako) are a good side but, they are beatable and with our fans behind us on Sunday, I don’t think they can contain us,” Coach Ocloo told the local media.

The standin gaffer added that his side will be fully prepared and ready for the game on Sunday as they go for the win.

Coach Ocloo expects a tough game on Sunday against the Malians who hold the advantage with their three goals lead from the first leg encounter.

“We will pressure them from the start and, I am confident that the boys will rise to the occasion and score the goals that will lead to our qualification,” the former Asante Kotoko deputy coach said.

The game will kick-off at 3:00pm local time in the Ghanaian capital and, Hearts of Oak have asked their fans to turn up in their numbers to cheer the team on to victory.
